Paula Lindemann
she/her/hers
What inspires my teaching: My approach to yoga focuses on wellbeing through the integration of mindfulness and joy. I am intrigued by the interconnections between the physical and mental dimensions of yoga.
Why I teach yoga: Yoga, meditation, and chanting inspires me to be a better version of myself. It brings me moments of clarity, truth, and inner peace. What an honor it is to hold space for others to explore, to play, to be authentic, to awaken.
Why I practice: To listen. To breathe. To center myself. To be fully present. To lose myself in the moment. To evolve.
What to expect from classes with me: Each class is designed to improve balance, coordination, stability, flexibility, ease of movement and clarity of mind. I sequence my classes with a focus on a specific body part, or practice building a peak pose in supine, prone and standing positions.
When I’m not teaching yoga, you can find me: I enjoy daily walks around the Mississippi river with my lifelong partner, John, and dog, Nakata. I ride my bike everywhere I can (except in winter!). I get excited about birds, vegetarian cooking, acting (I have a BA in Theatre) and international travel. I have traveled to 23 countries and counting!
