Yelapa, Mexico is a beautiful and quiet village just South of Puerto Vallarta on a secluded bay of the Pacific Ocean. Off the beaten tourist path, Yelapa is accessed only by boat and travelers enjoy the unplugged natural beauty by walking the village paths, hiking to a local waterfall, or sunbathing or swimming in the ocean waters and beach.
Our week long retreat is located at Pura Vida Wellness Center. Pura Vida in Spanish means pure life. That is the mantra and intention of this incredible center located on the ocean, just steps from the quiet and secluded Isabel beach on the South side of the bay. These beautiful accommodations are ideal for those seeking connection with nature and themselves. We will practice yoga together daily, enjoy the company of each other, eat delicious meals, and relax in this tropical paradise.
Yoga
Yoga is led by Chris and Nora
3 yoga classes daily: early AM meditation, late morning yoga asana practice, and evening restorative. Wednesday is a free day to snorkel, explore, or rest!
All levels yoga practices; all are welcome!

Accommodations
Open-air accommodations with queen beds and breathtaking views of the ocean, jungle, and beach.
A limited number of A/C rooms are available with a large sliding glass door to the ocean.
Each room has a private bathroom with shower.
Rooms are handcrafted to appreciate the natural beauty while providing the modern comforts of home.
Amenities
Chlorine-free, salt water heated pool and infinity hot tub overlooking the ocean.
Organic juice bar pool-side with delicious smoothies and treats for purchase.
Massage spa services available on-site. (for additional cost)
Room cleaning provided daily. WIFI available in main commons.
Additional excursions can be arranged such as snorkeling, jungle hiking, or boat rides to a nearby beach.
Nourishment
Meals are prepared onsite and are mostly vegetarian and organic. Special dietary needs can be accommodated - vegan, gluten free, dairy free, or specific foods allergies on request.
Spring fed drinking water is filtered for purity and safety.
Organic juice bar located pool-side. (ala carte)
Wednesday night Mexican fiesta night out in the village complete with handmade torillas and homemade local cuisine.
Option to enjoy the amazing local dining spots as well!

Register now and reserve your room by putting a $400 deposit down.
What’s Included: 3 yoga classes daily (excluding Wednesday), 6 nights stay at Pura Vida, 3 meals a day, and boat ride transportation to/from Puerto Vallarta and Yelapa.
Location: Yelapa is a small fishing village just south of Puerto Vallarta. You will take a 45 minute boat ride to get there due to it’s remote location. There are no roads in Yelapa and the main form of transportation is by foot, ATV, or donkey! Village paths as well as accommodations have steps and uneven paths; guests must be physically able to safely walk on uneven surfaces and go up and down stairs.
Getting there (important!): Fly to Puerto Vallarta (PVR) at least one day early on Saturday January 20 and stay overnight in Puerto Vallarta at accommodations of your choice. The following morning on Sunday Jan 21 we will gather at 10am to catch our chartered boat to Yelapa. You are responsible for your own transportation from the airport, meals, and 1 night in PV on Jan 20. We can help you with hotel recommendations near the pier!
Departing: Book your return flight for 1:30pm or later on Saturday Jan 27. Or stay a few extra days to enjoy Yelapa or Puerto Vallarta on your own!

You will be placed in a double occupancy room with 2 queen beds and a shared private bath.
Double occupancy pricing is contingent on finding you a suitable roommate match.
Accommodations
Rooms are open-air and have 3 walls and 1 open side to either the ocean or the jungle.
Rooms with A/C have a sliding glass door that can be closed for privacy and for A/C use.
All rooms have a private bath with hot shower.

Airfare to/from Puerto Vallarta airport (PVR)
Ground transportation from the airport to the main pier in Puerto Vallarta (Los Muiertos Pier) where we catch our boat
1 night stay pre-retreat in Puerto Vallarta on Sat Jan 20 and meals this day

COVID-19 + traveling:
We suggest travel and/or flight insurance.
If we need to cancel the retreat due to international flight restrictions, your deposit and any balances paid will be refunded back to you.

Retreat Cancellation Policy:
If you decide to cancel your reservation, your $400 deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellations due to personal schedule changes or illness will be refunded as outlined below, minus the $400 deposit.
Balances are refundable as follows:
Cancellation over 61+ days from start of retreat: 100% refundable, minus deposit.
Cancellation within 31-60 days from start of retreat: 100% refundable if we are able to fill your spot, minus deposit.
Cancellation 15-30 days from start of retreat: 50% refundable, minus deposit.
Cancellation within 2 weeks from start of retreat: No refunds will be issued.
