Big River Yoga is a local, independently owned yoga studio in the Seward neighborhood of Minneapolis. Our mission is to awaken the consciousness of people to realize our interconnection. We offer a variety of yoga classes for beginners, continuing and advanced students. We also offer monthly restorative yoga, Thai massage classes and a variety of workshops with visiting instructors. Massage therapy compliments our yoga offerings and we specialize in Thai Massage. Our RTT (Registered Thai Therapist) and instructor, Chris Gordon, leads Thai massage trainings.
Spring Cleaning: Whole Health through Ayurveda. Each week will focus on specific aspects of mindfulness, nutrition, and lifestyle changes from an Ayurvedic perspective to guide you through a supported Spring cleanse program. Program includes gentle yoga practices and guided lectures, weekly nutritional handouts, regular email check-ins, program guidebook, and herbal teas to support your whole body during the cleanse. $175 Classes meet five Sundays, March 30th - May 4th. (No class Easter Sunday, April 20th.)
Relax and restore with the support of poetry, music and props, while two massage therapists coerce you to surrender ever more deeply into bliss. A delightful way to rest deeply with support in a community setting. This is a treat. $25
