Our teachers have years of training and experience and we offer a variety of classes, including align and flow classes, vinyasa yoga, gentle yoga, restorative yoga, meditation classes and more. We humbly strive to share the deep and profound wisdom of yoga with you. All of our teachers are certified and registered with yoga alliance. Classes are taught with clear alignment instruction and encouragement to connect to your body, mind and heart.

This special device emits Far Infrared Ray heat that penetrates and warms the body from the inside out. It is deeply relaxing and healing.
We have deep respect for the lineage of teachers and practitioners who have come before us, the people that taught them, and the cultures from which the practice comes. We are grateful this practice is available to us and we humbly pass the teaching on to our students.
"I am a beginner's beginner and from the first time I began practicing I knew this was something right for me. Each teacher shows deep respect for the yoga traditions in which they trained and bring their own very accessible and helpful language to encourage, instruct, and in all instances valuing that we, the students, know what our bodies can do, while helping us believe we can do more. This is a welcoming setting where young and not so young, female and male find our space to become more balanced, more grounded, more aware of ourselves in our bodies. Do come and try it!!"
"I don't know why in the world I waited 20 months to walk in the door. What a sweet, welcoming little studio with everything I need right here. Great instruction, a variety of classes, beautiful space. Classes available at times I can get to and all within walking distance. Been practicing yoga 30+ years, at home, in studios across the country and tried many throughout the Cities. I'm really pleased with Big River. Thanks for being here!"
"I have advanced osteoarthritis and didn't think I would be able to do the poses. I was wrong. The instructors at Big River who have led me on my yoga journey have guided me with such care and compassion. Yoga at Big River has definitely made a positive difference in my mind, body, and spirit."
I am loving my experience so far!!! I went to the Saturday Beginner's class and LOVED it. I can't tell you how great I feel just after 2 1/2 weeks! I have found my yoga home. Could I use any more exclamation marks?
