Styles that inform and inspire my teaching: Alignment-based vinyasa, shambhava hatha, restorative, yoga nidra, Ayurveda
Why I teach yoga: Because yoga is a teacher. In the hustle and bustle of daily living, yoga offers a place for solitude, for stillness, for present awareness. Yoga teaches me how to find balance of body, mind and spirit and I feel extreme joy in sharing these teachings and practices with others.
Why I practice: For stress management and peace of mind; to cultivate love and compassion for myself and others.
What to expect from classes with me: You can expect 70 minutes of self exploration. You will experience mental, physical and spiritual stimulation in a playful, heartfelt and very intentional practice. My goal is that all students leave class feeling better than they did when they walked in, and hopefully we laughed a little along the way.
When Iām not teaching yoga, you can find me: On a Pilates Reformer, in the kitchen, racing after my two children and husband, hiking the North Shore, in the waters of the Whitefish Chain, planning my next travel adventure, or spending time with the girls!
