Staff Teaching instructs the following:
RUN/WALK - ASANA - NIDRA
Sat September 23rd - 7:30am start
Big River Yoga's first ever Triathlon Event (a mindful "tri-OM-thlon") on the day after the Autumn Equinox!
7:00am - Doors open
7:30am - Run 4 miles/Walk 2 miles
8:45am - Yoga class (level 1) - 50 mins - with Geri
9:45am - Yoga Nidra (Yogic "Sleep") - 45 mins - with Gretchen
10:30 - 11:30am - Refreshments & Treats to follow
RUN/WALK: Choose between a 4 mile run loop or a 2 mile walking route along the Mississippi River. Both will be lead by a Big River Yoga staff member or teacher and mapped out.
YOGA CLASS: A 50 minute level 1 yoga class aimed at cooling down and stretching out after the run/walk. Lengthen your hamstrings, easy tension in your hips and calm your nervous system.
YOGA NIDRA: Translated as "yogic sleep"; a guided relaxation that utilizes visualizations combined with intention setting practices perfect for the Equinox transition in order to manifest your visions. Participants will be laying flat in supported savasana pose and guided through the practice.
