Stephanie Mauceri

Steph is a native New Yorker who relocated to The Twin Cities in November 2009. She has been practicing Yoga since 1991 and teaching since 2003. Her first teaching certification was from OM Yoga NYC with additional studies/certifications in Prenatal Yoga, Yin Yoga, Therapeutic Yoga, Yoga for Children, and Anatomy for Yoga Teachers.

Although initially beginning her Yoga practice in the Ashtanga and Vinyasa traditions, she was in a car accident in 2004 and this caused her to reestablish her practice as more of a restorative and rehabilitative modality. Steph's classroom teaching style especially blends Vinyasa and Iyengar techniques with a strong emphasis on anatomy and kinesiology.

She is also a writer, proud mom of healthy fraternal twin boys-- born in 2010, and starting in summer 2015 will begin coursework towards a masters degree in Integrative Health Coaching.

Chris Gordon

Chris Gordon has been teaching yoga for the past 20 years. He is owner of Big River Yoga and is also a healer, specializing in Thai Massage and leads Thai Massage Trainings in the twin cites and beyond. Chris is also a certified health and wellness coach and offers empathic support to his clients. Chris delights in his meditation practice and enjoys bicycling and swimming and walking his dog, Ruby. In classes, Chris applies the ancient philosophy of yoga to everyday life. He is passionate about teaching, clear, down to earth and reverent.

Gretchen Fellon

Gretchen felt a pull to yoga for its ability to nurture the body, mind, and spirit in a compassionate, loving way. She found her way to the Colorado Eldorado Mountain Ashram where she studied Shambhava Hatha Yoga and has been teaching since 2003. As a mother of two, Gretchen's yoga practice serves as a retreat from the day-to-day; an opportunity to indulge in self-care and self-love. Her classes encourage turning inward to allow your inner light to shine and your inner wisdom to guide. When we are in union with our natural state, we live a life of balance and harmony, free from negativity and dis-ease. She brings intention, passion, and big love to her yoga practice and encourages her students to do the same.
Ideal for those new to yoga. Build a solid foundation for a safe and joyful yoga practice.
